Staff here are always friendly, helpful and hardworking. The shop is clean, well organised and clearly looked after by a team who care about their work. What people don’t always see is that retail staff regularly have to deal with customers who are rude or dismissive from the moment they walk in. Basic manners like saying “excuse me” or “please” seem to be disappearing, and it’s disappointing to see staff treated poorly. Walking up and barking a product name at someone without even an “excuse me” isn’t exactly respectful, and then loudly complaining about the staff who are still within earshot afterwards is unfair. From what I’ve seen, the staff here handle those situations with patience and professionalism. Retail workers deserve the same respect and courtesy as anyone else, and the team here do a great job despite having to deal with behaviour that would frustrate anyone. The staff are some of the friendliest and most hardworking people around. Treat them with basic manners and respect, and they will go above and beyond to make sure you receive great customer service. Most people who visit the shop have great experiences, which probably says more than the occasional negative review ever could.

I had a very uncomfortable experience today 09/03. When I came into the shop, there were two women working. I politely asked one of them where I could find specific product they sell. Before she could respond, the other staff member very rudely interrupted and told me where they were in a dismissive tone, almost as if she was shocked I had even asked. Her attitude came across as quite disrespectful. After I walked away to look for the item, I glanced back and noticed them still staring at me and appearing to talk about me, very awkward and uncomfortable. Customers should feel comfortable asking staff for help, not feel judged and unwelcome. I hope the management addresses this kind of behaviour so future customers are treated with more basic courtesy and respect.

Managers and supervisors do not adhere to the consumer rights act therefore stealing the my money - Bought an expensive thick rubber chew/play toy described for dogs 20-30kg and as durable and long lasting… after a few hours of play the squeaker stopped working & I returned it within a few days only to be very rudely told that it’s nothing to do with them and I need to take it up with the manufacturer.. I then went to the lengths of showing the the consumer rights act showing the gov laws on the retailer being responsible for sorting faults and non fit for purpose returns and it’s def not my responsibility to take it up with the manufacturer… I was mocked for googling the information to show them and the supervisor refused to read it saying that’s not how we work, we don’t work for the government … I tried to stand my ground insisting on a refund only to be told that it’s my fault for not choosing the correct toy for my dog, despite it clearly stating it was designed a durable and long lasting toy for much heavier dogs than mine. It’s also a new product only released in the past few months and I showed the supervisor every single review online says the exact same, not fit for purpose & destroyed in no time at all, so this wasn’t just me making this not fit for purpose claim. But the supervisor refused to read or even look, she just did not care one bit. Too much detail to include but without doubt the this was the worst retail experience I have EVER experienced.
